LDO 7.5 A adjustable positive regulator, VRG8691/92, delivers tightly regulated and adjustable 1.0-3.3 V output that is set with 2 external resistors. Available to MIL-PRF-38534, Class K, product is suited for supplying power to FPGA, MPU, ASIC, and memory chipsets. It offers low dropout voltage of less than 0.5 V, internal current limit protection, and controllable power-up sequence with enable input and slow-start capability. Thru-hole and SMT package styles are available.

Aeroflex Plainview Adds 7.5A Adjustable Voltage Regulators to its HiRel Product Family
Plainview, NY - Aeroflex Plainview announces the latest addition to their HiRel Voltage Regulator Family with a new Low Dropout (LDO) 7.5Amp adjustable positive regulator. The VRG8691/92 has an adjustable 1.0V-3.3V output, which uniquely addresses trends in the satellite market requiring lower power supply voltages with higher load currents. The 7.5A VRG8691/92 is a compact-light-weight device ideally suited for supplying power to today's leading FPGA, microprocessor, ASIC, and memory chipsets for space applications.
The VRG8691/92 key features include:
Very low dropout voltage of < 0.5V
Tightly regulated 1.0V-3.3V output voltage (set with two external resistors)
Internal current limit protection
Controllable power-up sequence with Enable input and Slow-Start capability
100 krads(Si) total dose and -55oC to +125oC operating temperature range
"Thru-hole" and surface mount package styles
