UV-Stable Polyethylene Adhesive Tape for Masking and Protection


Windsor, Connecticut - June 22, 2006.... Scapa North America has introduced Polyflex' 433, a heavy duty, UV-stable polyethylene masking tape designed for general purpose masking and surface protection. The product performs well in a range of construction, agricultural and general industrial applications.

Polyflex 433 is a 4.5 mil heavy duty polyethylene film, single coated with a UV-stable synthetic rubber adhesive. This highly conformable product resists UV exposure and maintains a watertight seal in all weather conditions. For building construction, Polyflex 433 is ideal for masking windows and doors during stucco or paint application, and for greenhouse construction and repair. The tape can also be used for agricultural bagging, shrink wrapping, and general purpose masking and protection. Polyflex 433 bonds well to a wide variety of substrates, leaves no residue upon removal and offers good chemical resistance.
