Ship n' Safe(TM) Adhesive Shims Protect Pre-Hung Doors from Damage During Shipping

ADDISON, IL, September 19, 2006 - Manufacturers of pre-hung doors go to great lengths to protect their products during shipping, many of which feature delicate glass etchings, finely finished woods and polished metals.

To help in that effort, Pres-On Products, Inc. today announced its new Ship n' Safe(TM) line of adhesive coated chipboard shims. Simple yet highly effective, these 1-inch square shims are placed in the door jam prior to shipping to prevent the door from opening during transporting or installation on a jobsite. The shim's removable adhesive holds the door securely closed yet removes cleanly without scratching or leaving behind a messy residue.

Ship n' Safe(TM) shims are available in 1/32", 1/16" and 1/8" thicknesses to meet most door jam requirements. They are sold individually or in cut-in strips of six pieces.
