MIDLAND, Mich. - April 30, 2007 - Dow CorningŪ Q3-3526 Base and Catalyst Adhesive/Sealant is a two-compound, non-slump silicone product that cures rapidly at room temperature via a non-corrosive, low-odor condensation cure mechanism. Q3-3526 Adhesive/Sealant yields excellent unprimed adhesion to glass and many plastic and metal substrates, including polyamide, PC, PBT, PET, ABS and acrylics, and plastics treated with scratch-resistant coating.
Q3-3526 Adhesive/Sealant is designed for rapid sealing/adhering of components made from materials exhibiting different thermal expansion rates or exposed to high temperatures. The product develops adhesive strength rapidly, permitting fast handling for leakage testing or for storage of bonded components.
Applications include assembly of automotive headlights and auxiliary lights, body panels and body components, assembly of oven doors windows and other appliance components.
