SMOOTH Model EBV-200-A uses adaptive sensing technology to flush automatically, and manual override button enables flushometer to work in event of power failure.

Sloan's New Smooth(TM) Retrofit Product Converts Manual Flushometers to Electronic Operation
FRANKLIN PARK, IL - The new SMOOTH(TM) (Side-Mount-Operator-Over-The-Handle) retrofit product from Sloan Valve Company quickly and easily converts manual Flushometers to water-saving sensor operation. Converting manual Flushometers to electronic operation offers hygienic and convenience benefits for users, as well as cost, restroom image and maintenance advantages for facility owners and operators.
SMOOTH installs in less than a minute using only a screwdriver: Just slide the SMOOTH product over the handle of a manual Flushometer and secure the clamp. There's no need to even turn off the water. SMOOTH works right out of the box for either left or right handle installation on exposed manual water closet and urinal Flushometers.
SMOOTH Model EBV-200-A, which is in Sloan's OPTIMAŽ line of electronic plumbing systems, uses adaptive sensing technology to flush automatically. A true manual over-ride button enables the Flushometer to work in the event of a power failure. A low-battery indicator light signals when it's time to replace the unit's four "C" batteries. SMOOTH sleeps when the restroom is dark, extending battery life.
