In addition to item identification and location data, GAO127003 is designed to collect and transmit temperature data in real-time. It operates at 2.45 GHz and can withstand temperatures from -50 to +150°C. Suited for monitoring refrigerated items en route, tag can trigger alarm if temperature falls outside of preset limits (with accuracy of ±1°) and has max read range of 100 m. Battery life is rated at 4 years, and up to 100 tags can be read simultaneously.

Toronto, Canada - GAO Tek Inc. (www.GAOTek.com)GAO Tek's Active RFID tag with temperature sensor (GAO127003) is specifically designed to collect and transmit temperature data in real time in addition to identification and location of items. It is commonly deployed in applications such as cold logistics or medicine transportation.
GAO's temperature sensor active tag operates at 2.45GHz and can withstand temperature ranges from -50° to 150°. The active tag is excellent for monitoring refrigerated items en route and can trigger an alarm if the tagged items temperature falls outside of preset limits The tag offers high accuracy of ±1° error, and furthermore, has a maximum read range of 100m as well as a long battery life of four years. Overall, it is an ideal tool to identify the exact time of temperature change. Additionally, one hundred tags can be read simultaneously.
