MINNEAPOLIS - The forecast calls for clouds - ceiling clouds, that is. pinta acoustic has introduced BALANCE Ceiling Clouds for acoustical control and aesthetic appeal. The clouds provide architects, interior designers, construction professionals and facility managers an additional design-with-function option.

Ceiling clouds maintain the appearance of an open ceiling while adding significant sound absorption to the space. Excellent application opportunities include open office environments as well as loft spaces.
The clouds arrive at the customer's completely assembled, and they are easy to suspend from any ceiling or roof deck. Clouds are composed of an 11/16-inch-thick (18 millimeters) WHITELINE panel with a lightweight aluminum frame. The panel is available in white, black and custom colors, and the frame is available in natural aluminum and white. Clouds are offered with either a nonexposed or exposed 3/8-inch-wide (10 millimeters) flange around the perimeter. BALANCE Clouds are available in custom sizes up to 4 by 10 feet (1.21 by 3.04 m).
BALANCE Ceiling Clouds are highly sound absorptive and Class 1 fire rated. The panels have a smooth surface with light reflectance of more than 87 percent.
