Conserver IV - Model 440 Acid Dewpoint Monitor

Maximize Efficiency, Minimize Corrosion, Control Condensables!!

NEWTOWN, PA - LAND Instruments announces the all new Conserver IV - Model 440 Acid Dewpoint Monitor.

Conserving energy, meeting "Clear Skies Initiative", and reducing maintenance problems associated with SO3 are prime concerns with industry boilers today. Determining the Acid Dewpoint Temperature is an economical approach to solving these potential problems while maximizing the efficiency of the boiler's operation.

The Conserver IV - Model 440 utilizes the measured Acid Dewpoint Temperature to offer six programs, each with a custom display and executed from a control unit: 1) SO3 2) SO3 calculation to indicate the relationship to condensables, 3) MMT (Minimum Metal Temperature) calculation to indicate the lowest temperature that expressed metal surfaces can reach without corrosion), 4) SO3 calculation to indicate the relationship to corrosion potential, 5) EFFICIENCY calculation indicating the potential increase in efficiency (%) when exit temperature is reduced to near Acid Dewpoint Temperature, and 6) RBU (Rate of Acid Build Up) graph assesses the corrosion potential of a boiler's flue gas.

The Conserver IV - Model 440 Acid Dewpoint Monitor is a part of the combustion product line from LAND Instruments. Other product lines offered by LAND include Dust/Opacity Monitors, Multi-gas Analyzers, and Portable Flue Gas Analyzers.
