Flexible Solution Conforms to Production Flow

(Oshkosh, WI) – Introducing the Flex Flow Accumulator, a new accumulation solution developed by Nercon Eng. & Mfg., Inc. This new product automatically adjusts to the changing pace of production flow, ensuring continuous flow throughout the conveyor circuit.

The Flex Flow Accumulator operates on the concept of an expandable travel path, sensing fluctuations in production and responsively changing length to match these variations. By reducing downtime of the generating unit, the Flex Flow increases overall production efficiency and operating profits.

The in-line accumulation delivers a more consistent product flow to downstream equipment. This procedure in turn increases the operational reliability of these production line machines.

The Flex Flow offers side transfer at two points, at the in-feed and the discharge. At all other corners the accumulator drives product around the radius, preventing locking or wedging. A single continuous crescent style chain carries product, ensuring production line backpressure is non-existent to prevent product damage.

The unit provides first-in, first-out accumulation and maintains product orientation with no product slippage. No internal transfer disc eliminates potential tipping.

The Flex Flow accumulator is suitable for odd product shapes and requires minimal changeover when going from one product size to another size.

Nercon Eng. & Mfg., Inc. provides turn key solutions using complete project management, design, manufacturing and installation services. Nercon specializes in customized material handling conveyor systems that utilize state-of-the-art electronic control systems.
