July 10, 2003 - Series 46000 utilizes micro-machined silicon technology. Accelerometers offer ranges of ±2 and ±10 g. Inclinometers come in 4 types with angle-measurement ranges from ±5 to ±90°. Unregulated power supply and high-output signal allows use without external conditioners. With operating temperature from -40 to +257°F, Series 46000 is suitable for servo control, angular control, and measurement of pitch, roll, and acceleration in railway, aeronautical, and metal production environments.

Sensorex Presents the New 46000 Series: Inclinometers and Accelerometers Using Micro-Machined Silicon Technology

Chicago, July 1st , 2003

The French company SENSOREX, a subsidiary of the ACES group since 1992, is noted for its production of inertial measurement systems using the most innovative detection technologies. The company's proven skill in both sensors and micro-electronics enables it to offer compact, sturdy products that are particularly resistant to extreme environments. With the new 46000 series, SENSOREX confirms its position as European leader in this field.

The accelerometers of the new 46000 series are available in two types, with acceleration measurement ranges of +/- 2 and +/- 10 g. The inclinometers come in four types with angle measurement ranges extending from +/- 5° to +/- 90°.

The unregulated power supply and the high output signal means that they can be used without external conditioners. With an operating temperature from - 40° to + 257°F, the 46000 series is suitable for most industrial applications, especially for servo control, angular control, and the measurement of pitch, roll and acceleration in extreme environments such as the railway, aeronautical, or metal producing sectors.

About SENSOREX
Inertial measurement is a specialized business and SENSOREX offers a very wide range of sensors to measure position, pitch, acceleration, shock, and angular speed. Whatever the application, SENSOREX can provide a series of additional electronic solutions that perfectly suit all of the sensors in this range and numerous other models available on the market.

In addition to the standard range of sensors, the company develops specific, appropriate solutions in a number of application areas such as aeronautical, and military and space programs, as well as in every industrial field. Certified ISO 9001 since 1996, SENSOREX now has ISO 9001, version 2000 certification, and all of its products comply with the European CE EN 50081 and 82 standards.
