Long-Lasting Compactgrain Abrasive Saves Time, Money

ST. LOUIS-VSM's COMPACTGRAIN increases belt and disc life in polishing applications by three to 10 times when compared to conventional abrasives. This value-added product reduces
overall costs by reducing steps in your finishing process.

COMPACTGRAIN uses a unique granulate consisting of many abrasive grains bonded together, which allows the product to systematically wear by constantly regenerating new sharp grinding
points throughout the finishing process. This regeneration produces a consistent surface roughness throughout its long life.

This multi-layer construction works well in mechanical applications such as robotic, flat and centerless grinding, as well as off hand and disc polishing. VSM COMPACTGRAIN is available in aluminum oxide and silicon carbide grain and can be produced in belt and disc forms.

VSM's COMPACTGRAIN abrasive products include:

• KK718X - A robust COMPACTGRAIN used in wet grinding applications. This aluminum oxide grain is attached to a durable cloth backing and is ideal for metal applications.

• KK712X - A strong cloth COMPACTGRAIN providing a uniform scratch pattern. This aluminum oxide grain is ideal for metal applications.
