With thermally efficient U-chassis design, MPI-706H Fanless ATX 1U compliant power supply generates 80 W utilizing 8.6 cfm forced air-cooling or 60 W using convection cooling. It is suited for use with mini-ITX and other industrial applications requiring low power consumption, small size, and cool, silent operation. Unit uses universal AC input, is rated at +50°C with linear derating factor of 2.5%/°C to 50% capacity at +70°C, and has MTBF of greater than 130,000 hr.

Magic Power USA Releases 170mm Slim Size 60W Fan-Less ATX Power Supply
Sunnyvale, California - September 25, 2008 - Magic Power Technology Inc. introduces the MPI-706H, a compact 170 x 52 x 39mm, 60W/80W AC-DC ATX output power supply. MPI-706H is a 1U compliant device that can generate 80 Watts utilizing 8.6CFM forced air-cooling, or 60 Watts using convection cooling. This product utilizes a thermally efficient U-chassis design, eliminating the need for a cooling fan and allowing for reduced power consumption and ultra quiet operation, as well as lower dust contamination. MPI-706H is ideal for use with mini-ITX and other industrial applications requiring low power consumption, small size, and cool, silent operation.
MPI-706H uses a universal AC input and has ATX compatible output voltages. MPI-706H is rated at +50C with a linear derating factor of 2.5% per degree C to 50% capacity at +70C. It has a MTBF of greater than 130,000 hours. The reliability, noiseless operation, and ultra compact size of this power supply allow for greater flexibility in overall system design, with increases ambient temperature performance and most of all ergonomic efficiency. This gives MPI-706H the potential to power future low footprint sub 60W PC's.
MPI-706H comes with standard protection mechanisms in cases of over voltage, overload, or short circuit. MPI-706H is CE-marked and is UL 60950-1 certified. A 2-year warranty comes standard with the device.
