Featuring modular design rated to IP65, IN-PRESS meters are available in forward/back pressure control styles. They can be combined with close-coupled control valves to form digital pressure controllers, whereby pressure ranges are measured and controlled within range of 0-100 mbar up to 0-400 bar. ATEX-approved for use in Category 3, Zone 2 hazardous areas, meters offer analog I/O signals, RS232 connection, as well as integrated PID Control and various alarm and diagnostic functions.

ATEX Approved Pressure Meters / Controllers with Fieldbus Interface
The new IN-PRESS Pressure Meters by Bronkhorst High-Tech, The Netherlands, are modular instruments of rugged design according IP65 (dust- and waterproof). They can be combined with close-coupled control valves to form compact digital Pressure Controllers, whereby pressure ranges are measured and controlled within the range of 0-100 mbar up to 0-400 bar. Two styles are available; forward pressure control and back pressure control. The instruments are ATEX approved for use in Category 3, Zone 2 hazardous areas.
The instruments have analog I/O-signals and also an RS232 connection as a standard feature. In addition to this there is the possibility of integrating an interface board with DeviceNet(TM), Profibus-DP®, Modbus or FLOW-BUS protocol. The basic pc-board features integrated PID Control and various alarm and diagnostic functions.
Applications can be found in process control systems as for example in food, chemical and petrochemical plants.
