January 9, 2014 - Using gyros and accelerometers to calculate pitch and roll angles of 0.1 typ, LandMark™ 50 includes hard and soft iron calibrated, temperature modeled, triaxial magnetometer for heading as well as barometric pressure sensor. Internal software will automatically provide turning error correction with external customer supplied velocity input. Operating from +6 to +36 V, system is environmentally sealed for EMI protection, with RS485 data rate of 100 Hz and internal sampling rate of 4 KHz.

SNOQUALMIE, Wash. -- Gladiator Technologies announced the next release in their high performance MEMS product family, the LandMark(TM) 50 Attitude and Heading Reference System (AHRS). This new AHRS builds upon the successful heritage of the company's LandMark(TM) AHRS product families, including the LandMark(TM) 10, 20, 30 and 40. The LandMark(TM) 50 AHRS is form, fit and function interchangeable with the proven LandMark(TM) 30 AHRS, yet offers substantial improvement in performance utilizing their newest high performance MEMS gyros and accelerometers.

All LandMark(TM) AHRS's use only gyros and accelerometers to accurately calculate pitch and roll angles. The unit includes a hard and soft iron calibrated temperature modeled triaxial magnetometer for heading as well as internal barometric pressure sensor. The internal software will automatically provide turning error correction with an external customer supplied velocity input, either analog or digital. All Gladiator AHRS's share a common messaging protocol for a "common cockpit" approach enabling users the option to choose the AHRS performance, size, weight and price that best suits their application without having to rewrite any interface software. The LandMark(TM) 50 AHRS features robust environmental sealing for EMI protection with an RS485 data rate of 100Hz (4 KHz internal sampling rate) and offers many advanced performance features:
