Different wavelengths of light are reflected back to viewer, producing an changing color gradient with iridescent highlights. Alcan Launches New Spectra Colors Series for ALUCOBOND®
PARIS, France, July 30 -- Alcan introduces the new ALUCOBOND® Spectra Colors series for the global architectural and facade markets.
"With its subtle nuances and color contrasts, Alcan's new ALUCOBOND® Spectra Colors series celebrates the natural color shifts that occur in everyday materials. The new color series was inspired by the glowing luster and sheen in modern metals and the color shifts found in modern luxury goods. Alcan's new ALUCOBOND® Spectra Colors series change color depending upon the material's pigment type and the observer's viewing angle. Different wavelengths of light are reflected back to the viewer producing an ever-changing color gradient with iridescent highlights.
The new Spectra Colors series for ALUCOBOND® was created by Alcan Composites in Singen, Germany, and is one of the many innovative projects the Company's architectural business is developing.
