Both models offer selectable modes for sensorless vector control, and Model SK 520E contains added control modes for closed-loop flux vector control. External plug-in technology delivers field bus connection options.

Waunakee, WI - NORD Gear Corporation offers the NORDAC SK 500E and 520E AC vector frequency inverters, featuring a compact design and delivering a high level of performance.
Built for tough applications, the NORDAC SK 500E and 520E inverters feature high torque, rapid response and wide speed range for extended power outputs ranging from 0.25kW to 7.5 kW. Available in sizes between 7.32 x 2.99 x 5.94 inches and 11.26 x 3.86 x 7.01 inches, both models offer a performance package which contains all standard drive functions, allowing for smooth integration into almost any automation environment. The inverters also feature selectable modes for sensorless vector control that provides a high-starting torque and precise control. The SK 520E inverter contains added control modes for closed-loop flux vector control, an optional position control, and additional I/O.
The NORDAC 500E and 520E inverters' pre-engineered, external plug-in technology delivers a range of programming, display, control and field bus connection options. This makes the inverters easily adaptable to the requirements of specific applications. Fully programmable for a variety of applications, the inverters have 138 adjustable parameters, 56 information parameters, 20 diagnostic message groups and 31 fixed frequencies.
The NORDAC SK 500E and 520E vector frequency inverters also feature:
