Consisting of 57 single-output models with outputs from 3.3-48 Vdc, Mean Well GS Series targets low-medium power applications with 18, 25, 40, 60, and 90 W platforms. Miniature desktop units consume less than 0.5 W standby power, and range in size from 3.66 x 2.1 x 1.42 in. to 5.71 x 2.36 x 1.26 in. All models are RoHS-compliant and include overvoltage/over-current protection. Typical efficiencies for 40-90 W units are in excess of 85.5% per EISA/CEC Level IV/Energy Star requirements.

PowerGate Announces New Energy Compliant 18~90W Desktop AC-DC Power Supply Series
PowerGate LLC announces the Mean Well GS series of miniature external 18~90 Watt AC-DC power supplies designed for low and medium power applications with 18, 25, 40, 60 and 90 watt platforms. These power supplies all meet the energy efficiency standards stipulated by the Federal Government's new EISA standard effective July 1, 2008 and the California based CEC Level IV compliance.
Consisting of 57 single-output models with outputs ranging from 3.3~48Vdc, the GS Series delivers high power density with ultra-compact sizes ranging from 18 Watts in only 3.66 x 2.1 x 1.42" through 90 Watts in just 5.71 x 2.36 x 1.26". All products consume less than 0.5W standby power and typical efficiencies for the 40 - 90W models are in excess of 85.5 % per EISA / CEC Level IV / Energy Star requirements. The GS Series feature Universal AC Input; UL/cUL 60950-1, EN60950-1, CE Mark safety approvals; meet EN55022 and FCC Part 15 Level B standards; RoHS compliance; and overvoltage / over-current protection circuits. The GS90 offers Active Power Factor Correction (PFC) while the 40, 60 and 90 watt models offer additional CCC and BSMI approvals. These products are suitable for a broad range of requirements including communications, computer peripheral, test & measurement; networking equipment or any application where external power is required.
