February 13, 2013 - Supplied in 1U high chassis, NXT-100 series includes 8 models with universal 85–264 Vac input; adjustable, single outputs from 2.5–48 Vdc; and power density of 8.9 W/in.. Efficiency is 85% typ, and line and load regulation are 0.5%. Achieving unit start-up down to -40C (-WT models), series supports operating temperatures up to +70C with airflow and integrates protection circuitry. Options include remote inhibit/enable and single wire load sharing.

Wrentham, MA — Power Sources Unlimited, Inc. announces the NXT-100 series of ultra small AC-DC power supplies with extended temperature range that achieves unit start-up down to –40C (-WT models).

The NXT-100 series features high power density of 8.9W/inch and universal 85–264VAC input in a 1U high chassis. Eight models provide adjustable, single outputs from 2.5VDC to 48VDC. Efficiency is 85% typical, line and load regulation are 0.5%, and operating temperatures are up to +70C with airflow. Comprehensive protection circuitry is inherent in the NXT-100 advanced SMT design.

Available options are remote inhibit/enable, cover and chassis, and single wire load sharing, load sharing evaluation boards are also available. Worldwide safety compliance to both EN60101-1 3rd edition (medical) and EN60950-1 (ITE) standards, RoHS compliance, a 2 year warranty and a high MTBF make the NXT-100 series ideal for numerous applications.

Single output models priced at $84 each in OEM quantities. Lead time for production is 8 weeks, prototype quantities available in a week.
