V-Infinity, a division of CUI Inc, has added a new line of ac-dc power modules that provide 3 watts of power in a compact encapsulated package. The VSK-S3 is designed for a wide range of applications where space is limited such as telecom or datacom. These units measure 1.46 x 0.91 x 0.59 inches. They accept a universal input voltage (85 to 264 Vac or 110 to 370 Vdc), offer efficiencies up to 78% in the 24 V model, and are rated for operation at 100% load from -0 to 50°C ambient.
