December 29, 2004 - By detecting downstream clogs and shutting off A/C unit, Little Giant® ACS-4 prevents flooding caused by clogged A/C condensate drains. It can be installed in vertical or horizontal, plugged or inline configurations and can also be wired to activate audible and/or visual alarms. Packaged with 1 x ¾ in. reducing bushing, ¾ in. plug for auxiliary drain pan outlets, and 6 ft lead wires, switch is suited for 24 Vac, 0.5 A max operation.

OKLAHOMA CITY ā€“ Little Giant Pump Company has introduced a new auxiliary condensate overflow safety switch that can help prevent flooding caused by clogged air conditioning condensate drains. The Little Giant® ACS-4 auxiliary condensate overflow safety switch detects downstream clogs and shuts off the air conditioning unit before flooding occurs. The ACS-4 switch can be installed to activate audible and/or visual alarms, as well.
The compact, versatile design of the ACS-4 safety switch makes it easy to install in vertical or horizontal plugged or inline configurations. The switch/cap assembly is easily removed for inspection, maintenance and cleaning of a clog in the line.
Packaged complete with a 1ā€¯ x 3/4ā€¯ reducing bushing, a 3/4ā€¯ plug for auxiliary drain pan outlets and 6ā€™ lead wires, the ACS-4 is suitable for 24 VAC, 0.5 Amp maximum operation and complies with applicable building codes.
