Electro Standards Laboratories (ESL), Cranston, RI, announces the new Pathway® Model 7747 RS530 DB25 A/B Switch with Cut-Off and Remote Control. This low profile data network switch allows the user the ability of sharing a single DB25 device among two others, connected to the A and B ports. The M7747 also features a secure CUT-OFF position, which stops any and all data throughput via the switch.
M7747 can switch one RS530 interface channel to either A, B, or full CUT-OFF position for secure isolation. This versatile data switch can be controlled locally by manually operating the front panel pushbutton or remotely using RS232 serial or contact closure signaling. If power to the M7747 is lost, the switch will safely move to the CUT-OFF position until power is restored.
