June 3, 2009 - Capable of providing single channel A/B switching, Model 7268 allows user to share single HD15 interface device among 2 other devices connected to A and B ports. Unit switches all 15 pins simultaneously and latching relays maintain connection and switch position during power failure. Switch can be controlled via front panel pushbutton or remotely through DB9 RS232 serial port utilizing ASCII commands.

Model 7268 Provides HD15 A/B Single Channel Switching with Remote Control in a Sleek, Low Profile Unit


Electro Standards Laboratories (ESL), Cranston, RI, has just announced its new Model 7268 HD15 Interface A/B Switch. This network switch provides single channel A/B switching in a sleek, low profile unit.

The Model 7268 allows the user the capability of sharing a single HD15 interface device among two other devices connected to the A and B ports. The unit switches all 15 pins simultaneously and latching relays maintain connection and switch position during power failure. The switch may be controlled via front panel pushbutton or remotely through DB9 RS232 serial port utilizing ASCII commands.
