May 1, 2002 - Compact Air-to-Air Booster operates on air pressure alone to amplify input pressure 2:1. Outlet air pressure up to 250 psi is possible. Applications include fixtures and tooling that have already been designed, but it is later determined that actuators are providing insufficient force. Booster can be installed to amplify input pressure and supply required power. Units have hard-coat anodized, PTFE-impregnated components for corrosion and wear resistance.

April 19, 2002, Monee, Illinois - The Air-to-Air Booster is a compact, self-contained unit that amplifies input pressure at a 2:1 ratio. The unit contains valve components that allow it to automatically reciprocate. It operates on air pressure alone.
The Booster features hard-coat anodized, PTFE-impregnated components for maximum corrosion and wear resistance. Outlet air pressure up to 250psi is possible (at maximum input pressure of 125psi). Units are mounted via the anodized aluminum base plate, which is included on all Boosters.
The Booster is ideal for fixtures and tooling that have already been designed, and it is later determined the actuators are providing insufficient force. At this point it is costly to redesign and specify larger cylinders. The Booster can be easily installed to amplify input pressure and supply the required power.
