New Label Maker Helps Plant Engineers Increase Security, Safety And Productivity

MILWAUKEE-- (May 1, 2002) Brady Signmark® introduces a new label maker, GlobalMark(TM) industrial label maker, that easily produces professional, full-color, industrial grade labels and signs, on site, in minutes. Signs and labels, especially relating to plant requirements like OSHA and ANSI safety signs and warnings, equipment ID, and security can be made on the spot. There is no need to wait for days or even weeks for professional looking signs. With GlobalMark(TM), plant managers can prevent situations where lack of proper markings can cause equipment downtime or accidents.

The GlobalMark(TM) label maker is extremely easy to set up and operate. With on-screen templates and simple, touch-screen menus, professional, industrial-grade labels and signs, up to four inches wide to any length, are simple to produce in minutes with the touch of a finger, with no complex training necessary. GlobalMark(TM) uses a Microsoft Windows(R) CE operating system.

Print resolution is 300 dots per inch. The XY axis plotter/cutter can be used for precision letter and symbol cutting, for applications like window or door signs. Using Brady's optional MarkWare(TM) software, labels can be produced in full color, even with photographs.

GlobalMark(TM) uses Brady's high quality, industrial grade, indoor/outdoor materials and adhesives for maximum durability and longevity. Fifteen high-performance materials are available, including specialty materials like silver reflective, phosphorescent, tag stock, magnetic, static cling and brushed gold.
