IC Pin Straightener causes no static.


April 23, 2002 - DIP-R-SIZER(R) provides static protection while straightening pins on 0.300 or 0.600 in. center DIP ICs. Tool eliminates need for anti-static devices or complex pin straightening equipment. In use, device to be straightened is placed inside tool and squeeze brings leads into tolerance of 0.320 or 0.620 in.

Aries Offers Anti-Static Version Of Low Cost DIP IC PIN Straightener


Frenchtown, NJ, April 2002 - Aries Electronics, an international manufacturer of standard, programmed and custom interconnection products, has introduced the first anti-static version of a tool that provides a fast, easy and inexpensive means of straightening the pins of DIP IC devices.

Designated the DIP-R-SIZER(R), this new Aries tool provides static protection while straightening the pins on .300" (7.62mm) or .600" (15.24mm) center DIP ICs. The tool eliminates the need for anti-static devices or complex, expensive pin straightening equipment.

In use, the device to be straightened is placed on the inside of one side the tool or the other, depending on center spacing. One easy squeeze brings the handles together and brings the leads into a tolerance of .320" (8.12mm) or .620" (15.74mm).

The lightweight, easy to use tool is manufactured of Stat-Kon PBT.

Pricing of the DIP-R-SIZER starts at $23.90 in quantities of up to 24. Delivery is from stock.
