RotronŽ brushless DC motors come in 47 and 64 frame sizes and accept voltage inputs of 12, 24, 37, 74, 90, and 110 Vdc. Applications include fans, blowers, pumps, and compressors from 0.5-2.25 hp. Series 47 Frame motors are available in lengths of 6.08 and 6.68 in. and achieve continuous torque up to 50 oz-in. and speeds up to 4,425 rpm, while 64 Frame series comes in 7.08, 10.125, 10.36, and 13.34 in. lengths and offers 800 oz-in. continuous torque and speeds up to 3,900 rpm.

RotronŽ Brushless DC Motors Engineered for Transportation Applications Deliver Long-Life Power Solutions for Fans, Blowers, Pumps, and Compressors
RotronŽ brushless DC motors specially engineered for applications onboard heavy-duty transit buses, coaches, and other transportation vehicles deliver long-life power solutions serving up to 60,000 hours. These motors in two standard frame sizes (47 and 64) employ electronic commutation to operate virtually maintenance free and can outlive conventional brush-commutated motor products prone to failure from brush wear.
Applications include fans, blowers, pumps, and compressors from 0.5 HP to 2.25 HP, depending on model. Both motor types integrate rare-earth magnets for high torque/weight ratio, accept a wide range of voltage inputs (12, 24, 37, 74, 90, and 110 VDC), and offer protections against reverse polarity and voltage surges.
The 47 Frame motor series (in lengths 6.08 in. and 6.68 in.) incorporate integral electronics enabling simple 2-wire DC operation. They can achieve continuous torque up to 50 oz-in and speeds up to 4,425 RPM with optional accelerated speed capabilities up to 10,000 RPM. Other options include MS connectors, O-ring sealing for harsh environments, and bi-directional operation.
The 64 Frame motor series (in lengths 7.08 in., 10.125 in., 10.36 in., and 13.34 in.) can achieve continuous torque up to 800 oz-in and speeds up to 3,900 RPM. The motors are sealed with O-rings as standard. Drop-in replacement motor designs can be developed for existing brush motors to accommodate OEM or retrofit applications.
Both motor types can additionally be ordered with custom shaft and mounting configurations (foot and face), winding variations to meet exact speed/torque/voltage point, and otherwise customized to satisfy particular application requirements.
Complete blower, fan, and pump systems equipped with these durable motors can be supplied as total system solutions.
