Ultra-Compact Laser Displacement Sensor weighs only 65 g.


October 27, 2009 - Suited for mounting on robot heads and linear slides/cylinders, CD33 features sub-pixel processing for micron-accurate detection of all materials from white ceramic to black rubber. Self-contained unit provides variety of control outputs including digital and analog, as well as Serial communication for direct connection to PC and PLCs. With ±0.1% F.S. linearity, sensor is suited for real-time production monitoring of coating, extrusion, laminating and component assembly machines.

Ultra-Compact and Lightweight CMOS Displacement Laser Ideal for Industrial Robots


Weighing only 65 grams the newly released Optex FA CD33 series displacement laser sensor features sub-pixel processing for micron-accurate detection of all materials from white ceramic to black rubber. The CD33 is ideal for mounting on robot heads and linear slides/cylinders where light weight and compact sensors are required.

The self-contained and ultra-compact sensor provides a variety of control outputs that include both digital and analog. Serial communication is also available for simple direct connection to PC and PLC's.

The CD33 features ± 0.1% F.S. linearity making it the ideal choice for applications that require real-time production monitoring of coating, extrusion, laminating and component assembly machines

Intuitive set-up is provided with two large buttons for function select and set point setting minimizing set-up time for simple go/no-go detection of thickness and distance of all materials in error-proofing applications
