Designed for a variety of Fieldbus and Ethernet network applications, 7/8 in. cable connectors with 2.5 mm terminal cross-section capacity of Series 820 field-attachable connectors are offered with 5 gold-plated contacts in male and female versions with straight and right-angle options. Cables up to 14 mm in dia can be connected to straight versions and up to 12 mm can be connected to right-angle versions. Screw-type terminals are used to attach wires.
CAMARILLO, CA - Binder-USA has announced its newest addition of 7/8" cable connectors with 2.5mm terminal cross-section capacity to the Series 820 field-attachable connectors. The increase in terminal size now accepts wire sizes up to 14 AWG. With the larger terminal size the 7/8" connectors are well suited for a variety of Fieldbus and Ethernet network applications.
The 7/8" connectors are offered with 5 gold-plated contacts in male and female versions with straight and right-angle options. Cables up to 14mm in diameter can be connected to straight versions and up to 12mm cables can be connected to right-angle versions. Wires are attached with screw-type terminals. When properly mated the connectors are IP67-rated assuring the connection is protected from liquids and debris. To make the system complete, mating front-mounted receptacles are offered with pre-attached wires.
