Innovative Handheld Signal Level Analyzer

Toronto, Canada - GAO Instruments (www.GAOInstruments.com) has rolled out its versatile, high performance signal level analyzer used to facilitate CATV field engineers and technicians in the installation and testing of CATV systems. It measures CATV TILT, C/N and trunk cable voltage. The portable analyzer features a rugged design and simple operation.

This handheld signal level analyzer, model A0500015, operates at frequencies of 5 to 870MHz and tests CATV signals accurately in both channel (SCAN) and frequency (SPECTRUM) modes. In 'SCAN 'mode, the analyzer scans all channels and records signal levels in internal memory for later analysis. In 'SPECTRUM 'mode, the analyzer displays spectrums and conducts tests within certain frequency ranges. It scans up to 125 channels at a speed of 30 channels per minute. This signal level analyzer possesses a 128X64-matrix backlit LCD screen for clear display of test results and stores twenty-three groups of scanned data (up to 100 channels per group).
