Capable of switching up to 20 W with individual maximums of 1.0 A and 200 V, MK23 Series non-molded sensors feature minimum of 200-320 Vdc across contacts. Sensors offer multiple lead designs, switching options including SPST or SPDT versions, and require no external power to operate. With smallest version measuring only 13.0 x 1.8 x 2.0 mm, sensors allow for high density PCB population, and suit any application requiring single- or multi-point position or liquid level sensing.

MEDER electronic, Inc. today introduced a series of non-molded surface mount sensors, offering a more economic and compact design as compared to their over-molded sensors.
The MK23 Series offers versatility with multiple lead designs, switching options including SPST or SPDT versions, and require no external power to operate. They can be designed into any application where single or multi-point position or liquid level sensing is required.
The smallest of the MK23 Series Reed Sensors measures only 13.0mm x 1.8mm x 2.0mm (0.51" x 0.07" x 0.078"), which allows for high density PCB population with multipoint sensing. The MK23 series is sold in Tape & Reel packing and is suitable for pick and place automation.
