September 14, 2009 - Designed for digital test applications with low to moderate channel count, GX5291 card supports 1.5, 1.8, 2.5, 3.3, and 5 V TTL/LVTTL logic families. Including per-pin and per-vector direction control, high-performance digital instrument offers 32 channels of digital I/O with 32 Mb of vector memory per channel.

Geotest Adds the Low-Cost GX5291 to PXI Digital Instrument Line


Irvine, Calif. (September 3, 2009) - Responding to the need for a low-cost, high-performance digital instrument, Geotest has introduced a digital instrument that offers 32 channels of digital I/O, with 32 Mb of vector memory per channel. The new GX5291 card supports 1.5 V, 1.8 V, 2.5 V, 3.3 V, and 5 V TTL/LVTTL logic families and supports a maximum vector rate of 50 or 100 MHz.

"The GX5291 is designed to support cost sensitive, performance digital test applications with low to moderate channel count," said Loofie Gutterman, president of Geotest. "The card shares all of the features found in our other GX5290 products, including per-pin and per-vector direction control and provides a cost-effective solution for those seeking peformance digital at a very affordable price."

The 50 MHz card features an industry-leading price of $115/channel with the 100 MHz card priced at $125/channel. The GX5291 is available now.
