Designed as measurement while drilling (MWD) sensor for use in downhole well service applications, force balance accelerometer model SA-120RHT operates in temperatures from -40 to 200°C. Self-contained unit provides high level, low impedance output, eliminating need for additional high temperature signal conditioning. Measuring 1.0 in. dia and 0.73 in. high, device weighs only 1.5 oz, and offers shock survival of 500 G, 0.5 msec and vibration survival of 25 Grms, 0.5 in. disp. D.A.
Miniature, High Temperature Accelerometers Offer Proven Performance for Downhole Mapping
Columbia Research Lab's Model SA-120RHT was designed as a Measurement While Drilling (MWD) sensor for use in downhole well service applications. Model SA-120RHT is a force balance accelerometer capable of operating at temperatures of up to 200° Celsius under extreme shock and vibration conditions. In addition to time proven, exceptional high temperature performance, its small size, rugged construction, and low power consumption has made this accelerometer the accepted standard for use in downhole high temperature mapping. Model SA-120RHT is completely self-contained and provides high level, low impedance output, eliminating the need for costly additional high temperature signal conditioning. The SA-120RHT weighs only 1.5 oz maximum and is 1.0" in diameter x 0.73" H. While offering the benefits of small size and light weight, the SA-120RHT operates at a temperature range of -40°C to - 200°C; has shock survival of 500G, 0.5 mSec.; and vibration survival: 25 Grms, 0.5" disp. D.A. (2-2000Hz).
