Visual Fault Finder helps detect fiber cable breaks.


August 20, 2009 - Featuring output power of 1.8 mW, 650 Nm visible laser source model A0680001 detects breaks and micro-bends for jacketed fibers, and locates faults at distance of up to 5 km from source. It has FC adapter compatible with SC and ST connectors, works continuously for 25 hr on single charge, and has auto-off timer. Handheld device is suited for testing fiber optic, telecom and CATV networks, and for fiber identification in ribbon or bundled fiber optic pigtails during installation.
