New Tripp Lite IP Console Servers Provide Universal IT Device Management
In-Band/Out-of-Band Management Solutions for All Rackmount Equipment
Chicago, IL (August 5, 2009)-Tripp Lite has introduced a new line of IP Console Servers that offer a universal IT device management solution for servers, workstations, routers, PBX systems, UPS systems, PDUs, IP KVM switches and more. The new servers enable users to access all their equipment in-band or out-of-band from any location through a single, highly secure gateway.

The new IP Console Servers are available in three models with 16 or 48 RJ45 serial ports. Models B096-048 and B096-016 feature full management LAN support, enabling highly secure service processor access. They also include a built-in router, firewall and DHCP server, plus dual Ethernet ports. Model B092-016 features embedded PowerAlert Network Management System software capable of controlling up to 250 UPS systems and PDUs. Also available are three modular serial adapters that allow the IP console servers to access devices with DB9 serial ports.
