PC Board Mountable Low Pressure Sensor

Model 1210 Sub PSI from Measurement Specialties

Metal Tube and Ceramic Barbed Ports

Measurement Specialties, Inc introduces the new Model 1210 Sub PSI designed specifically for low pressure applications requiring high output and stability. These sensors are temperature compensated and operate using a constant current supply. Offered in 5 & 10 inches H2O ranges (12.5mB & 25mB), these newly designed ceramic barbed ports are rugged and make secure pressure connections to 3/32 inch (2.4mm) ID hosing. The ceramic ports are available with matching port volumes that minimize errors in flow measurements.

The Model 1210 Sub PSI is a temperature compensated, piezoresistive silicon pressure sensor packaged in a dual-in-line configuration. An on board laser-trimmed resistor can be used to normalize output variations by programming the gain of an external differential amplifier that provides ±1% interchangeability. This product is intended for many low pressure applications such as air duct flow, medical instrumentation, and environmental controls. Custom SMT leads, pressure ranges, and barbed tube options are available for large OEM customers.
