Test Equipment performs wide range of mechanical tests.
July 28, 2009 -
Utilizing linear motor technology, ElectroPuls E10000 and E10000 Linear-Torsion are capable of running slow-speed static tests through to dynamic tests at frequencies over 100 Hz. Both are capable of up to 10,000 N, and E10000 Linear-Torsion features combined linear-torsion actuator for bi-axial tests. Features include stiffness tuning wizard to ensure achievement of critical loads, T-slot table for flexible test set ups, and electrically operated crosshead lifts.
New E10000 Electropuls(TM) Systems - Revolutionary Test Capability for Dynamic & Fatigue Testing
Instron, a leading provider of testing equipment solutions designed to evaluate mechanical properties of materials and components, introduces the ElectroPuls E10000 and E10000 Linear-Torsion, innovative all-electric dynamic test instruments that are ideal for a wide range of testing requirements.
Utilizing linear motor technology, these state-of-the-art ElectroPuls systems are capable of running slow-speed static tests through to high-frequency dynamic tests at over 100 Hz and enable a myriad of mechanical tests to be conducted. From evaluating the tensile strength of soft tissues to fracture mechanics, to durability testing of athletic footwear, the ElectroPuls systems provide a single superior testing platform. Unlike conventional servohydraulic technologies used for dynamic testing, the ElectroPuls systems feature no oil or high-pressure power supply, are air-cooled, and only require a single phase electrical supply.
Both models are capable of up to 10,000 N (2250 lbf), and the E10000 Linear-Torsion features a patented and combined linear-torsion actuator for bi-axial tests of materials and components. These high-accuracy instruments incorporate many user-orientated features: a patented stiffness tuning wizard to ensure achievement of critical loads, a T-slot table for flexible test set ups, and electrically operated crosshead lifts.
