July 28, 2009 - Featuring 2 RF F-Type input ports and large LCD screen, model A0500014 handheld signal level analyzer can test CATV signal levels in both channel (SCAN) and frequency (SPECTRUM) modes. It also measures CATV TILT, C/N, and Trunk Cable voltage, and can store 24 groups of scanned data (up to 100 channels per group). Windows compatible software is included for system set up, offering functions such as auto-off time setup, channel plan selection, and channel edition.

Handheld Signal Level Analyzer Covers a Wide Range of Applications Toronto, Canada - GAO Instruments (www.GAOInstruments.com) has announced the release of this handheld signal level analyzer, a high performance analyzer specially designed and manufactured to facilitate installation and testing of CATV systems for CATV field engineers and technicians.

The model A0500014 signal level analyzer can test CATV signal levels in both channel (SCAN) and frequency (SPECTRUM) modes. In 'SCAN' mode, the analyzer scans all channels and records signal levels in internal memory for later analysis. In "SPECTRUM" mode, the analyzer carries out spectrum displays and test for a certain frequency range. It also measures CATV TILT, C/N and Trunk Cable Voltage. The signal level analyzer stores twenty-four groups of scanned data (up to 100 channels per group) and boasts two RF F-Type input ports.

The signal level meters' simple operation and light weight offering ease of portability make this handheld unit well-suited for field use. A large LCD screen is equipped for clear display of test results. Furthermore, Windows compatible software is included for easy system set up, offering functions such as auto-off time setup, channel plan selection and channel edition.
