July 17, 2009 - Available in bronze fitted and all iron versions, TC Series have standard operating temperature at 250ºF and 175 psig in accordance with ANSI Standard B16.1. Mechanical seal has tungsten carbide rotating element and stationary seat, and carbon steel or stainless steel shafts come with replaceable bronze or stainless steel sleeves. Suitable applications include in heating, air conditioning, pressure boosting, cooling water transfer and water supply.

Taco Rolls Out TC Series Pumps


Cranston, RI, July 13, 2009 - Taco, Inc. continues to expand its commercial pump offerings with the introduction of the TC Series - single stage, double suction, vertical split case pumps for use in heating, air conditioning, pressure boosting, cooling water transfer and water supply applications.

The TC Series' top suction and discharge makes this product line the ideal choice for minimizing installation footprint in tight mechanical rooms.

TC Series pumps are available in 1160 and 1760 RPM in bronze fitted and all iron versions. Standard operating temperature is 250º F and 175 PSIG in accordance with ANSI Standard B16.1 (Class 125). Optional operating pressure is 300 PSIG at 250º F temperature.

TC Series pumps casings are constructed of cast iron, with ductile iron available. Their bronze impellers are high efficiency, double suction (with stainless steel impellers an option). Their carbon steel or stainless steel shafts come with replaceable bronze or stainless steel sleeves.

The pumps' mechanical seal handles a wide range of applications with superior longevity, and come with a tungsten carbide rotating element and stationary seat. TC Series pumps have excellent reliability and are easy to install.
