Offered in standard lengths of 2, 4, 6, and 8 ft, PVC Threaded Rod is amorphous thermoplastic with chemical resistance and dielectric properties. It offers tensile, flexural, and mechanical strength, low moisture absorption, dimensional stability, and flammability characteristics. Special lengths can be cut to meet custom application requirements, while 13 standard thread sizes are available from 4-40 through 1-8.
Micro Plastics' has expanded its inventory to offer Threaded Rod in Polyvinyl Chloride. This PVC material is an amorphous thermoplastic with chemical resistance and dielectric properties. Good tensile, flexural and mechanical strength, low moisture absorption, exceptional dimensional stability and good flammability characteristics. Polyvinyl Chloride has a maximum service temperature of 140° F. Has a good high strength to weight ratio and is rated UL94V0.
This new versatile PVC Threaded Rod stock is offered in standard lengths of 2, 4, 6 and 8 feet. Special lengths can be cut to meet customer application requirements for a nominal cutting charge. Thirteen standard thread sizes are available from 4-40 through 1-8.
