Enclosed in rugged powder coated steel box, PSU F-series features either 12 or 24 Vdc with output up to 11 or 5.5 A, respectively. It offers low power dissipation, trickle charger to maintain battery levels while ac power is present, and facility for secondary dc output which can supply 5, 12 or 15 Vdc at 2.7 A. Wall mount PSU features short circuit, overload, and over-voltage protection, as well as integrated battery protection from over discharge and reverse polarity.
Devlin Power Announce: New F-Series Battery Backed Wall Mount PSU Products
A new range of rugged Battery Backed Power Supply (BBPSU) products is released today by Devlin Power, a division of Devlin Electronics. The units are designed to provide DC battery power in the event of mains failure.
Devlin already provide a range of similar products which are utilised in a wide variety of industries including; Security, Access Control and Unmanned Remote Monitoring. It is believed the F-Series will also prove popular in these applications given its high quality component parts making the units extremely reliable enclosed in a rugged powder coated steel box.
Technically the F-Series Range features either 12 or 24V DC with the 12V option allowing an output up to 11A and the 24V up to 5.5A. There is also the facility for a secondary DC output which can supply 5, 12 or 15V DC at 2.7A. The F-Series utilises switch-mode technology which provides high efficiency and low power dissipation, with a trickle charger to maintain battery levels whilst AC power is present.
The F-Series feature a range of protective measures which include; short circuit, overload and over-voltage protection whilst on AC power plus integrated battery protection from over discharge and reverse polarity. The unit's housing is also designed to prevent unauthorised access with tamperproof screws securing the lid - as an option an anti-tamper warning switch can be accommodated as an additional security measure.
