Liquid Level Switches incorporate RF transmitter.


July 13, 2009 - Designed for industrial liquid level sensing for spill/overflow prevention, WIOŽ LM5000 series have battery-powered RF transmitter to send alarms immediately when set point level is reached. Submersible level units feature hermetically sealed, magnetically-actuated reed switch technology and are offered with side-mount and top-mount packaging. Various options are avaialable to meet application requirements ranging from probe length (up to 15 ft max) to float specific gravity.

Irvine, CA, June 30, 2009 - OleumTech, a leading provider of end-to-end industrial wireless systems, today announced its LM5000 series of WIOŽ High Level Switches for industrial liquid level sensing for spill/overflow prevention. Available in both, side-mount and top-mount packaging, these submersible level switches are ideal for point level sensing of chemicals, petroleum, solvents, and general process applications. All switches are certified as intrinsically safe for hazardous area operation.

The unparalleled WIO High Level Switches are self-contained, integrated with a battery-powered RF transmitter, which immediately transmits wireless alarms when a set point level is reached. This event-based mechanism extends battery life for up to 5 years while the internal self-checking diagnostic software monitors the device's health for normal operation.

OleumTech offers a complete family of level switches, from standardized single-point switches to fully customizable, multi-stage switches. The LM5000 series feature hermetically sealed, magnetically-actuated reed switch technology. There are number of options to satisfy specific application requirements ranging from probe length (up to 15 feet maximum) to float specific gravity.

The WIOŽ System forms the foundation of wireless process control enabling automatic emergency shut-down of the dispensing pump. These wireless switches are to be used with WIOŽ Gateway products, which integrate to existing installed control system/RTU.
