Optical Transmitter and Receiver with G.703 Connections

Toronto, Canada- GAO Fiber Optics (www.GAOFiberOptics.com) offers this digitalized optical transmitter and receiver -a 4E1/8E1/16E1 point-to-point optical transmission device which uses FPGA chips and is easy to upgrade. The transmitter and receiver uses the latest in technology and very-large scale integrated (VLSI)circuitry together with digital multiplexer and optical transmission technology. It meets the business needs for high-speed data and TDM integrated access with minimal cost. As a fiber optic multiplexer, or FMO, it is used to transmit 4E1/8E1/16E1 achieving a long distance without the need for repeaters and with superior performance compared to copper media.

This optical transceiver features loop return from the remote end, fiber self-loop at the local end, alarm function, large transmission capacity and a digital service telephone. It uses built-in power supply switching to provide over-voltage and over-current protection, thus it has good electromagnetic shielding ability. The transceiver has a single board structure and a wide transmission range of 2 to 120km. It provides for selection of both dual and single filament bidirectional types.
