July 8, 2009 - Designed for SONET/SDH/ATM applications, SFX-800G translates one input greater than 1 MHz into one of 8 selectable output frequencies between 10 MHz and 1.125 GHz. It is available as 3.3 V high precision PLL, and comes in 1.2 x 1.0 x 0.285 in. surface mount package. It supports most FEC rates such as 15/14 and 255/237, and provides jitter filtered, wander following output signal synchronized to Stratum or peer input reference signal.

Connor-Winfield Releases New Synchronous Clock Generator for SONET/SDH/ATM Applications

Aurora, IL - The SFX-800G is a high precision frequency translator that translates one input, greater than 1 MHz to one of eight selectable output frequencies between 10MHz and 1.125 GHz. The SFX-800G supports most major FEC rates such as 15/14 and 255/237.

The SFX-800G is well suited for use in line cards, service termination cards and similar functions to provide reliable reference, phase locked synchronization for TDM, PDH, SONET and SDH network equipment. The SFX-800G provides a jitter filtered, wander following output signal synchronized to a superior Stratum or peer input reference signal.

This synchronous clock generator is ideal for SONET/SDH/ATM, DWDM/FDM and FEC applications.
