With wide input ranges of 5-36 Vdc that step-down to wide output ranges of 2-32 Vdc, 5 models of AMLD-IZ series generate constant output currents of 800, 900, 1,000, 1,100, and 1,200 mA with accuracy of up to ±2%. They produce 38.4 W of power, include remote ON/OFF control function and analog voltage dimming control (0-100%), and are available in DIP24 package. RoHS compliant units measure 31.80 x 20.30 x 10.20 mm and can handle operating temperature of -40 to +85°C at full load.

Montreal, Canada - June 12, 2009 - Aimtec expands its AMLD-IZ series of step-down DC-DC LED drivers with five new models generating constant output currents reaching 1.2A.
With wide input ranges of 5-36VDC that step-down to wide output ranges 2-32VDC, the new models in the AMLD-IZ series generate constant output currents of 800mA, 900mA, 1,000mA, 1,100mA, 1,200mA with an accuracy of up to ±2%, ensuring the constant color and brightness that is required by today's most demanding LED applications.
Producing up to 38.4 watts of power in a compact DIP24 package (31.80 × 20.30 × 10.20 mm), the AMLD-IZ series features include remote ON/OFF control function as well as PWM and analog voltage dimming control (0 - 100%).
Boasting efficiencies of 96%, Aimtec's LED drivers are designed to be as reliable as the LEDs they drive, allowing them to be used at an operating temperature of -40oC to +85oC at full load.
