UV Resistant Tubing Protects Wiring from Harsh Sun Rays
Parker-TexLoc offers UV resistant fluoropolymer tubing products to withstand harsh outdoor elements that normally degrade tubing such as sunlight and UV rays. The unique characteristics of fluoropolymer tubing include exceptional heat and UV resistance, ensuring the tubing will not crack, degrade or discolor. In addition, Fluoropolymer UV resistant tubing operates in temperatures as high as 500°F (260°C) and is chemically inert, making them ideal for harsh environments where chemicals and corrosion are present.
Custom and standard sized tubes ranging from .004" ID up to 4" ID and are available in TexFluor® PTFE, FEP or PFA. Tubes can be supplied in smooth bore, heat shrink for covering wires, or in an extra flexible convoluted or corrugated style. Some products, such as dual shrink, can encapsulate wiring to create a moisture barrier as well.
