June 15, 2009 - Featuring enclosed impellers made of balanced lead-free silicon bronze, Submersible Turbine Pumps have discharge, intermediate bowls, and motor brackets constructed with class 30 cast iron for efficiency and abrasion resistance. Pumps of 6 in. size have flow rates up to 550 gpm, while 8 in. pumps have 1,000 gpm. Industrial applications include crop irrigation, city water supplies, deep-well de-watering, and large construction sites. Custom size pumps are also available.

The 6-inch pumps have flow rates up to 550 gpm, while the 8-inch pumps feature flow rates to 1,000 gpm.

Other key components designed into the Submersible Turbine Pumps include:

o Discharge, Intermediate Bowls and Motor Brackets-All utilize construction with heavy-duty class 30 cast iron for maximum efficiency and abrasion resistance, with long-life bronze bearings used in every stage.

o Impeller-Made of balanced lead-free silicon bronze, the enclosed impellers are designed for maximum efficiencies with a wide range of hydraulic coverage and corrosion-resistance.

o Custom Sizes-Special-order 10-, 12- and 14-inch Submersible Turbine Pumps are also available which utilize Griswold's vertical turbine bowls and fabricated brackets.

o Fabricated Assemblies-Available for in-line booster pumps and other special fabrication requirements.
