June 10, 2009 - Compatible with re-flow soldering techniques, STH series terminal blocks use self-extinguishing halogen-free UL94 V-0 plastic housing material and have temperature tolerance of up to 270ºC. They are offered in pitches of 3.81-15.0 mm in modular or side-stackable configurations with 2-6 pole individual units. Available in choice of straight, angled, or 90º wire entry, accepting wire sizes of from 2-16 AWG, wire retention is achieved through spring or clamping.

Blockmaster Goes Green with New Pick & Place Product Line


BlockMaster Electronics, Inc., Elk Grove Village, IL, has announced the introduction of its new STH Series of terminal blocks specifically engineered for new "Pick & Place" production technology utilizing through-hole product placement.

Using self-extinguishing halogen-free UL94 V-0 plastic housing material, with a temperature tolerance of up to 270ºC, the BlockMaster STH terminal, blocks are eminently suitable for re-flow soldering techniques.

The STH terminal blocks are offered in pitches of 3.81mm to 15.0 mm in modular or side-stackable configurations with 2 - 6 pole individual units. Sub-series within the line offers operating voltages of from 300 to 750 V at 10 -125 Amps. Even greater flexibility is available through the choice of straight, angled or 90º wire entry, accepting wire sizes of from 2 - 16 AWG. Wire retention is achieved through spring or clamping depending on sub-series choice. Both tube or tape and reel packaging are available. The entire product line is RoHS compliant with green as the standard color.
