June 10, 2009 - Offering mechanical life of 3,000,000 cycles/min, TS2 series has temperature range of -25 to + 85°C and dielectric strength of 1,000 V for 1 min. It has contact rating of 0.1 A at 125 Vac or 48 Vdc, contact resistance of 300 mW (initial max) at 5 Vdc, and insulation resistance of 100 MW (minimum at 500 Vdc). Subminiature switch is suited for board-level applications in appliance and white goods, timing controls, testing and instrumentation, and gaming/vending machines.

E-Switch's Newest Snap Action Switch Features Surface Mount Termination

MINNEAPOLIS, MN --- E-Switch introduces the newest snap action switch in their product portfolio, the TS2 series, subminiature switch featuring surface mount termination. Its small package size is designed for higher reliability applications and because of its unique SMT design, will be popular on many board-level applications. Specifications include:

o Mechanical Life - 3,000,000 cycles min.

o Contact Rating - 0.1A @ 125 VAC or 48 VDC

o Contact Resistance - 300 milliohms (initial max) at 5VDC

o Insulation Resistance - 100 Megaohms (Min. @ 500VDC)

o Dielectric Strength - 1,000 V for 1 min.

o Operating Temperature - minus 25C to + 85C

o Bounce - 5m second max
