Model J4858A HP compatible transceivers are 1000BASE-SX-SFP transceiver modules used for multimode fiber at 850 nm wavelengths. Hot-pluggable transceivers connect electrical circuitry of module with optical or copper network, and feature internal serial EEPROM that is encoded with security information. Units can be used in conjunction with any SFP module that HP device supports.
