Leading Industrial Computer designer and manufacturer ACROSSER Technology Co. Ltd announces the release of its latest addition of the family of 3.5" Embedded SBC - Models: AR-B5250, AR-B5250CM6C and AR-B5250CM1GZC.
The embedded SBC AR-B5250 incorporates an Intel Socket, compatible with Intel Pentium M & Celeron M processors @FSB 400MHz. The AR-B5250CM1GZC utilizes an on-board Celeron M 1GHz CPU and the AR-B5250CM6C, an on-board Celeron M 600MHz. All three versions employ a fanless design making them well suited for a wide variety of embedded computing applications.
The AR-B5250 family includes one SO-DIMM socket for a maximum of 1GB System Memory. It features Two Giga LAN (Intel 82574L) ports, more than supporting wide band networking demands. With an Intel 910GMLE chipset and built-in integrated Graphics Media Accelerator 900, the units deliver better performance than its brother Intel 85x North Bridge sets.
AR-B5250 has several Input/Output ports, such as: Dual 18-Bit LVDS and VGA, supporting dual display; along with one SATA and one compact flash slot, for multiple storage options. With 6 USB 2.0 ports, 8 GPIO, Stereo Audio and 4 COM (One RS422/485 Selectable) ports, the System version becomes a very versatile unit for many different applications.
Operating System support for Windows XP, Windows XP Embedded, Windows CE and Linux allows flexibility. Hardware monitoring function helps the maintenance operator to check the CPU and system temperature to prevent system malfunction due to bad system heat dissipation. 1~255 seconds software programmable watch dog timer can wake system from unexpected failures and save technical service loads.
As a pre-configured and tested SBC, the AR-B5250 family of products allows application developers to focus on their software development and system implementation without having to deal with hardware design and system implementation.
AR-B5250 v2.0 coming with DVI function especially design for Digital Signage application, it works for dual display combination such as VGA+DVI, it has built-in DVI chipset on board saving the additional labor, spaces and cost to install an extra DVI card that other SBC card suppliers required.
